Woodland Walk

A woodland walk in mid - late summertime through the Derwent Valley's ancient woodland.

Home to a range of British wildlife, we'll take a quiet stroll through the woodlands near the historic village of Eyam. Lewis will guide a small group, sharing an insight into his knowledge of the land, folk lore and wildlife habitat along the way.

We'll stop to construct a small wildlife hide, use binoculars to observe deer, birdlife and local badgers. Then we'll return to a woodland clearing for a refreshment provided by Lewis before making our way back to the vehicles.
