Disclaimer: Into Wilderness Bushcraft is dedicated to providing safe and enjoyable courses. The nature of the activities we provide and the locations we use means that risk of personal injury or death may be present despite all efforts made to reduce it and all participants are reminded that a real element of risk may always be present. Participants in activities and parents or legal guardians should be aware of and accept these risks as part of the course and be responsible for their own involvement. Under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless by written agreement. By booking onto a Into Wilderness Bushcraft activity or course you are declaring that:

· You and any Under 18’s in your party a physically and medically capable of undertaking the booked activity.

· You or any Under 18’s in your party do not require a translator and can follow instructions in English.

· You take responsibility for your own safety and that of any Under 18’s in your party.

· You agree to follow the advice and direction of the instructor at all times.

· You understand that failing to do so may result in injury or death

Terms and conditions

The Terms & Conditions information below must be read thoroughly and carefully before making any purchase for goods or services from Into Wilderness. If you have any questions about them please do not hesitate to contact us @Intowildernessuk@gmail.com

Agreement:

The Agreement is between "Into Wilderness" and the event organizer/"client(s)" and is the sole agreement between those parties
Into Wilderness reserves the right to refuse bookings to any party or individual without need to give reasons solely at Into Wilderness's discretion and will return any payment
No variation of these terms & conditions shall be applicable unless agreed in writing by Into Wilderness before the relevant demonstration/workshop.

Payment:

Full payment is required for all demonstrations/workshops within 10 days of completion
Clients will receive a written and itemized invoice within 5 working days of completion of the demonstration/workshop
Payment method must be agreed byInto Wilderness and the client(s) during booking and will typically be made via bank transfer.

Cancellation by the client(s):

Given the many working hours of preparation prior to any oroginsed event or workshop by Into Wilderness prior to any demonstration/workshop/event, the client(s) must be aware of the following conditions and therefore agrees to such if the booking* is cancelled or postponed by them:
1. Cancellation or postponement 60 days prior to event commencement will incur a £75 administration fee (This does not not apply for workshop attendees)
2. Cancellation or postponement 60-30 days before event commencement: Client will be liable for 60% quoted event fee.
3. Cancellation of Into Wilderness services on the aranged evnt date within 30 days of event commencement: Client will be liable for cancellation penalty of 100% quoted event fee.

A booking agreement is recognised by Into Wilderness once location, event date, and fee has been agreed.

Home Education:

For the safety of all the children participating in our Home education program we oporate by a three strike rule for dangerous and inappropriate behavior. In the unlikely event that a child has been given a stike, we would like to have a conversation with the guardian / carer. Upon receiving three strikes over the course of the program, we may have to ask that your child does not attend further workshops with us. In this event no refund may be issued.

The session is structured at all times so that children / participants should be engaged in an activity whether that be a game, free play, or a craft based workshop.

Children who are not engaged in an activity during the session are outside of our liability and we would not take responsibility for children who do not adhere to our site rules and boundaries which are set out at the beginning of the session. An Into Wilderness staff member may issue two strikes to a child / participant for unsafe actions that go against instructions or site rules. Upon receiving a third strike an Into Wilderness staff member would contact the appropriate parent to collect their child early from the session.

Into Wilderness staff members will not verbally issue strikes to children. Our team will always endeavor to support the needs of children participating in the home Education Programme.

Into Wilderness reserves the right to discuss why a child has been given strikes when time is convenient for us. This may be at the end of the session or via email after the session has ended.

If a child / participant is not fully engaged in an activity but stays within the boundaries, we encourage children to use a sit space to reflect or play safely following the site rules. For example ‘teddy’ can take time away from a planned activity to play with a stick or sit in the grass within the boundaries that have been set as this has been risk assessed.

However should ‘teddy’ run away from the group to climb a tree outside of the set boundaries this would mean that the whole group would be instructed to stop the activity while a member of staff asks ‘teddy’ to return to the group. If ‘teddy’ does not return then this is outside of our responsibility and therefore Into Wilderness may use the 3 strike rule which may result in a parent being asked to collect their child for that session.

Anyone who is unsure of the site rules at the Into Wilderness HQ should contact a member of staff.

For the safety of the group, individuals and Into Wilderness staff all participants must be aware and accept the Ts and Cs before attending any of the Into Wilderness workshops.

Into Wilderness takes great care in developing suitable risk assessments, site risk assessments and safeguarding policies to protect all children and adults participating in the Into Wilderness Home Education Programme.

Due to the time intensive nature of answering questions regarding safety during the Home Education Programme Into Wilderness reserves the right to ask that all queries are made in person at the Into WIlderness HQ not via email or social media.

Please note that although reasonable adjustments will always be made for young people with learning difficulties and SEN needs, if we deem that the safety of the group is compromised then we may refuse future booking.

If you have any urgent queries regarding safety please feel free to arrange this with me prior to the start of the session .

Our Public Liability Insurance covers us up to £10,000,000 for coaching during sessions.

Cancellations by Home Ed participant(s):

Given the substantial preparation by Into Wilderness prior to the Home Ed program beginning, attendees must be aware of the following conditions and therefore agrees to such if the booking is cancelled by them:

Cancellation more than 6 weeks before start of the Home Ed program: 100% of the workshop ticket price will be returned to the attendee.
Cancellation 6-3 weeks before Home Ed program commencement: 50% of the workshop ticket price will be forfeited.
Cancellation less than 3 weeks before Home Ed program commencement: 100% of the workshop ticket price will be forfeited.

Home Ed registration form(s) are non-transferable to other dates. If the attendee is unable to make the original booking date and gives notice of cancellation 6 weeks prior to commencement, a full refund can be issued.

4. Agreed cash / card payments in person must be upheld by workshop participant to the effect of the cancellation policy.

5. Failure to pay agreed fee may result in additional fees of £20 (late payment)

6. Into Wilderness may at our own discretion make allowances to these terms and conditions however due to the substantial efforts to make Home Ed ticket prices affordable to the clients, we sincerely ask that payment is upheld by the Home Ed participants.

7. By registering onto the Into Wilderness Home Education program you are accepting our Terms and Conditions.

Services - Cancellation by workshop participant(s):

Given the many worked hours and preparation by Into Wilderness staff prior to any workshop, attendees must be aware of the following conditions and therefore agrees to such if the booking is cancelled by them:

Cancellation more than 4 weeks before workshop commencement: 100% of the workshop ticket price will be returned to the attendee.
Cancellation 3-4 weeks before workshop commencement: 50% of the workshop ticket price will be forfeited.
Cancellation less than 2 weeks before workshop commencement: 100% of the workshop ticket price will be forfeited.

Workshop tickets are non-transferable to other dates. If the attendee is unable to make the original booking date and gives notice of cancellation 4 weeks prior to commencement, a full refund can be issued.

4. Agreed cash / card payments in person must be upheld by workhsop participant. Late cash payments may incur a £20 late payment fee*

Cancellation by IntoWilderness:

In the unlikely circumstance that Into Wilderness needs to cancel a demonstration/workshop:
- Clients will be informed as soon as practical using the email details you have supplied
- IntoWilderness willattempt to offer alternative dates or services

Services - Complaints & Feedback:

In the unlikely circumstance that a client(s) has cause for complaint about an Into Wilderness demonstration/workshop, the complaint must be made immediately to Into Wilderness during the event in order that corrective action can be taken if necessary
Should a problem not be resolved at source during the event, a complaint must be made in writing to Into Wilderness within 28 days of the event, or this complaint will not be upheld
Any refunds will only be considered if the above complaints process has been followed

Feedback and comments are requested at the end of each demonstration/workshop in the form of a simple paper questionnaire - this may include visitors to your event, as well event organizers
Into Wilderness may elect to include any comments on this website and will associate with a client, but will typically not include an individual's full name or personal details (see Testimonials)
Into Wilderness may elect to use a clients' logo in promotion of any events, goods or services (without any costs incurred) - by contracting Into Wilderness, you accept this condition

Changes to this agreement:

Into Wilderness reserves the right to update the Terms & Conditions at any time, without notice.
