About the event
Become the king / Queen of Coastal Foraging delving tenaciously into rock pools and low tidal waters alongside a Foraging expert.
From the nature reserve we will be joining the coast for a foraging workshop by the sea. We will be on the move for most of this trip -
collecting flint for our flint knapping workshop later that day and enjoying a wild cook up benith the crags. You will be learning about the eb and flow of the tide, coastal wildlife, wild foods and Primitive bushcraft skills.
Over the course you’ll be Foraging and intergrating ancient methods of Coastal survival such as friction fire lightning and bone harpoon point making. The journey will culminate in a wild foods feast by the coast.
There you will explore natural crafts in a flint knapping workshop, here we will continue our learning by producing primitive glue and cordage. Enjoy back country…
