With the generous permission of the Land Owner who runs the Cefn Coed camp site we have access and free range to explore the vast Anciant Oak woodland and practice bushcraft with the wisdom that comes with a simplistic journey into nature.

° Setting up a Simple camp including the Tipi lodge - Opotunity to share the lodge or camp separately

°Primitive fires - Explore the essential skill and native fire in a varied workshop that covers a range of fire lighting methods - Bow drill set manufacture and technically 

Each participents will take way their own set

°Fire by Sparks - Flint and pyrite

°Exploring an Ancient woodland - Tree identification - Hazel nut foraging - Bushcraft essential skills 

°A Journey to the nearby Esturay - Coastal Foraging wild foods - Primitive Hawthorn hooks and Flounder fishing 

°Woodcraft and craving Workshop - Selection of carving wood, Carving techniques and different types of grips.

°Tool matinance and tool care

°Natural clay pottery - Clay firing in ground oven

°Introduction to Flint knapping - Stone selection, Primitive tools and flake production

°Primitive glues and natural cordage 

°Back country cooking - Wild foods and Fire management 

°Fire side chat about Aboriginal Britain - Bushcraft and nature

°Bread making and wild foods feast 

°Salmon ponassing - Samon skining and tanning 

°Small game butchery - Using every part of the animal 

°Roe deer butchery by the Esturay - Ground Oven 

°Introduction to Tracking and Natural navigation as a way to enhance your navigation skill set and understanding of the natural world here in Britain 

Enjoy this private location in Wales - 

Small group size with a maximum of 10 guests to ensure we create a subtle atmosphere in the woods, and you get a very high interaction time with the instructor.

A full kit list is given out on booking, but you won't need much more than a sleeping bag and warm clothing.

This course is fully catered starting with the evening meal on the Friday, and finishing with lunch on Sunday. Please inform us of any dietary requirements, we're happy to cater to any needs.

Due the involved nature of this course, we don't feel its suitable to under 16 year olds (please ask if you have any questions)
