The Woodland Bowyer Experience

Our Bow making Workshop is a fantastic course to take your carving skill to the next level, learning the principles of bow making throughout the weekend as well as a valuable resource night into Indignation.

Hazel Bows can be versatile and high in their draw weight (roughly 60 pounds at 31 inches)

We will discuss the Hazel tree, history , folk law and its practical uses in Bushcraft.

You’ll have one to one instruction from Lewis who will guide you through the process of making a traditional bow from scratch using basic tools, A knife, an axe, Draw knives and flint tools!

From the meeting point you’ll be led into the woodland to our simplistic camp, Our Tipi will house the kitchen and communal area to dine on wild foods throughout the weekend.
